Ruth Penfold MA is a British registered nurse, with over 30 years experience in the UK, Cambodia, India and Iraq. Since 2013, Ruth has been providing First Aid training to businesses, schools, charities and individuals including First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid. Training courses include:
Basic Life Support with AED
Emergency First Aid at Work
Emergency First Aid for Schools
Paediatric and Early Years First Aid
Training is accredited through Worksafe.
Steve Penfold MA FCMI has over 23 years’ experience in leadership and strategic management roles, including 10 years in international development and 13 years in the UK in the NHS and Department of Health. His technical expertise stems from planning, delivering and evaluating health systems in Afghanistan, Cambodia and the United Kingdom. Until 2013 Steve was FHI 360’s Country Director/ Chief of Party for USAID’s largest HIV program in Cambodia. In the UK he was Deputy Head of Sexual Health & HIV for England within the Department of Health. His consultancies include working for organisations including USAID and World Health Organisation. Thematic areas covered to date include:
HIV and Health Systems Strengthening;
PEPFAR Country Operational Planning
HIV and Maternal Child Health;
Political Economic Analysis;
Short-term technical assistance
Grant management experience includes: USAID; DFAT/AusAID; Global Fund; ADB; UNICEF; UNAIDS
